Follow the motorway A1 (Autostrada del Sole) and exit at Firenze Certosa. Follow the connecting road Firenze-Siena (Autopalio - superstrada) and continue for approx. 40 minutes. Exit at Colle di Val d'Elsa Sud, turn right and at the roundabout go straight on following signs for Grosseto.Wherever there is a roundabout, continue straight on.After by-passing the village of Gracciano,the road bears right across a bridge.Cross the bridge and follow signs to Grosseto. Follow the motorway A 12, exitat Rosignano. Take the highway for Grosseto-Roma (Aurelia) and continue until you reach Cecina Nord. Follow directions for Volterra (Strada Statale SS 68). When you reach Volterra, continue in the direction of Colle di Val d'Elsa. After 30 Km. you will find the first houses of the small village Campiglia (hamlet of Colle di Val d'Elsa). Drive through the village of Campiglia and straight on. At the first crossroads turn right and then left almost immediately. At the roundabout at the end of the road, turn right and continue straight on, going beyond the village of Gracciano.Shortly after Gracciano, the road bears right across a bridge. Cross the bridge, bearing right and follow in the direction of Grosseto. Keep going for a few kilometres until you see a signpost for "Collalto", a small country road on the left.
